Mike Snavely grew up in South Africa, the son of missionary parents. His childhood was filled with wildlife adventures. After attending college in Minnesota, Mike returned to South Africa and worked for the National Park Service in Kruger National Park. He has also worked as a wildlife artist. When in the states, he and his wife, Carrie, live in eastern Pennsylvania, where they raised their three children. When traveling, they are often leading safari tours both in South Africa and in the western U.S. Mike is an experienced creation speaker, often tapping into his extensive knowledge of animal life.
